Magus (Pty) Ltd. and CST - Computer Simulation Technology AG (CST) announce the release of Antenna Magus 2019.1, the latest version of the leading antenna design tool. This release includes 3 new antennas as well as various other extensions and improvements.

New Antennas, Tools, Libraries and Extensions
- The Series-fed 3 by 3 Rectangular Patch Array. [MAGUS-26083]
- The Printed Multilayer Dipole Array. [MAGUS-26567]
- The Stacked Square-Ring Pin-Fed Patch Antenna. [MAGUS-26941]
- Toolbox calculators for transmission lines. [MAGUS-26749]
- The UFL Connector. [MAGUS-26915]
- Multilayer keyword has been added to allow searching for antennas with more than one dielectric. [MAGUS-26768]
New Features, Extensions and Improvements
- Information document for array operators are now scrollable using the mouse wheel. [MAGUS-26823]
- Default values are now shown immidiately when adding array operators. [MAGUS-26836]
- Capacitance, Inductance-per-meter and radians have been added as supported unit types. [MAGUS-26986]
Bug Fixes
- An error in the indication of Hd in the right side view of the Dielectric-loaded folded half-loop has been fixed. [AMB-2892]
- The bounding box for the Offset pattern-fed Gregorian reflector antenna was incorrect for some parameters sets. This has been fixed. [AMB-2897]
- The data for the phi=0 cut in the zoomed 2D Farfield chart of Offset pattern-fed Cassegrain reflector antenna was too wide for the intended graph. This has been fixed. [AMB-2903]
- Messages for applied array operators now show with mouse hover. [MAGUS-26837]
- If an Array Operator could not be applied the relevant messages weren't displayed. This has been fixed. [AMB-2857]
- Objectives that weren't used by Antenna Magus for a design are now indicated as 'Not Used'. [AMB-1210]
- In Find Mode, the display ordering of the matched keywords has been improved. [AMB-1239]
- Keyword hint text from Find Mode was visible on the Start Page. This has been fixed. [AMB-2607]
- The Axis of a 3D preview were partially hidden at certain rotations. This has been fixed. [AMB-2762]
- The spacing between images and their captions have been adjusted to improve readabiliy in Articles. [AMB-2852]
- In some cases if the trace visibility was disabled for a design, the trace remained visible even if another design was selected. This has been fixed. [AMB-2804]
- When changing from an enabled specification to disabling the specification in design mode a crash occured if the the reference design was the last design to be deleted. [AMB-2879]
- Substrates showed a warning regarding DRE(Design Range Extrapolation) even though substrates do not have extrapolation ranges. This has been fixed. [AMB-2880]
- Element patterns were not correctly applied to editable arrays. This has been fixed. [AMB-2896]
- The Export Distribution Matrix (Wavelength) button did not activate correctly. This has been fixed. [AMB-2899]
- Model Preview Format Tab was not selectable in certain cases. This has been fixed. [AMB-2860]
- Generating a CST model from an empty model in Custom templates caused errors when opening the model in CST 2019. This has been fixed. [AMB-2911]
- History tree in the CST export model of the MbyN patch array failed. This has been fixed. [CST-54284]
- Some devices had issues where the 3D Preview never updated or performance estimation never finished. This has been fixed. [AMB-2913]
- In some cases, Performance estimation of the Pattern-fed cassegrain reflector antenna may have failed to show 3D far-field results. This has been fixed. [CST-56274]
- In some cases the exported Near Field Source (NFS) was incorrect due to an internal error in its bounding box position. This has been fixed.
